Our Thirteenth Month - Sept 2019

We've enjoyed our second September as Ecology Property; not quite as frantic as the first - but equally as satisfying; I even managed to take a week off and get engaged (finally!).

Our Thirteenth Month - Sept 2019

We've enjoyed our second September as Ecology Property; not quite as frantic as the first - but equally as satisfying; I even managed to take a week off and get engaged (finally!) in New Zealand.

It's been so refreshing to see confidence continue to rise in the market from buyers, which obviously flows on to sellers and their perspective on the market also. We've noticed the volume of quality buyers in the market has also continued to rise (very much an "under supplied" feeling market once again) evidenced by a number of our "older" listings transacting, along with some of the fresh ones too. I always feel that when some of the listings that have been available for a while start selling alongside the more recently available listings, it's a good sign that confidence across the broader market has improved. It's also great to see sellers that have had to grit their teeth a little, finally have a win.

On an Ecology front we've finished September 2019 with another 8 unconditional sales - six of our own listings, plus two conjunctional land sales we've helped one of our buyers source (three projects to watch unfold on these two blocks soon), so a positive month for us on a selling front. Listings have been a little thinner on the ground but we've managed to make some good progress again on that lately, with the majority of our new sellers planning for a late October or November start date for their campaigns.

As always - onward and upward.
