Our Twenty-Second Month - June 2020

The end of June also noted our first full financial year of trade; a nice feeling and 18.2% up on the pace of the prior year...

I've been really, really slack with writing these blogs lately and I've been trying to understand why. I can't help but feel that it's because in my mind they feel a bit "stale" or repetitive; so I'm going to try mix things up a bit and keep them a little more good & bad rather than filtering through the facts just to find the good bits; haha.

June was a full month, once again. Six new sale contracts signed, seven new listings signed and coaching the nine sales from May through to unconditional with various challenges around building & pest, logistics etc.

I've found that keeping deals together has been the biggest time commitment of late; I'm not sure why, but it seems more paramount than normal. Maybe buyers are feeling a little exposed because the market is so competitive - then when (often minor) issues arise, they kind of "put their foot down" for the repairs... nothing we can't help manage though

The first Drummond Street sale settled, and I'm glad to mention that as I write this blog - the second villa is due to settle to it's new owner within a week. It feels great to sell out a project that we've all spent so much time on & in; a credit to Lavish Constructions and all involved.

I was reasonably exhausted after the month of June so we booked in a few days away with the family (was booked in for April but Covid had other plans). We need to keep things balanced and the energy right - especially when the pace is fast.

The end of June also noted our first full financial year of trade; a nice feeling and 18.2% up on the pace of the prior year... always a good thing!
