Covering 5.3 hectares, the park offers panoramic views of Gowrie Junction and the Bunya Mountains to the west and includes a diverse collection of Australian native flora and other attractive botanic specimens, including rare and endangered plants.
There is plenty to see and do at Peacehaven. Our favourites include enjoying a barbecue using the park facilities & picnic tables, taking a self-guided walk, bird watching, hitting the nature-themed children’s adventure playground (complete with dinosaur skeleton) or just enjoying the serenity on the grassy lawns… the perfect spot for meditation or yoga or playing frisbee with a friend.
There is also a community nursery, open to the public (selected times on Thursdays & Saturdays), specialising in native plants, local to our region.
