About Tabletop Mountain Bushland Reserve

Tabletop Mountain Bushland Reserve

Table Top Mountain is a park of volcanic origin and located at the eastern-most end of South Street in Toowoomba. Its prominent outline and naturally treeless summit, with its blanket of kangaroo grass and other native grasses, has made Table Top the source of inspiration for generations.

Table Top is an area of high significance to traditional owners, recognised in the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Register and protected under the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003.

Views range from Prince Henry Heights to the north, the Lockyer Valley to the east and the rugged folds of Main Range in the south and the city of Toowoomba in the west.
